Who we are

Specialists, not a catalogue

Plenty of hire companies will rent you anything with wheels. We have taken the opposite view: concentrate on access equipment, know those machines properly, and keep them in a condition we are willing to put our name on.

In practice that means a fleet built around electric slab scissor lifts in the 5.8 metre class, delivered and collected on our own transport, and serviced by people who work on heavy equipment for a living rather than outsourcing it and hoping.

Hire, sales and long-term leasing

We began as a hire business. Customers who ran our machines week after week started asking to buy them, and larger sites started asking for a machine that simply stayed put. So we added used and refurbished sales and long-term hire, including 12-month contracts. The fleet is the same either way; only the commercial arrangement changes.

Part of a wider group

SG Equipment Hire and Sales Pty Ltd sits alongside our sister companies and brands, Samahi Group and AUS Domes™. The group's work in dome shelters and site infrastructure means we spend our days on the same construction and industrial sites our customers do, which is a useful thing in a hire company.

If you need plant outside the access fleet, ask anyway. We would rather point you somewhere sensible than provide you the wrong machine.
